Marketing

Dan P.

"This summer, the Terumo offices in Somerset, NJ decided to take on a group of interns for the first time ever. As an intern that was part of this new program, I can honestly say that the folks at Terumo did an excellent job of putting together an experience that provided us with a better understanding of corporate environments, professional experience that is both relevant and competitive, and a system of support and guidance—driven by their commitment to teamwork—that allowed us to grow and thrive. Working in the marketing department, I was exposed to downstream marketing through my involvement in creating brochures and sales tools, providing marketing support (researching clinical articles, proof-reading content for branding and regulatory purposes, etc.) and participating in meetings with cross-functional teams. I also participated in various meetings and workshops focused around the upstream part of marketing. All in all, this program was a success, in my opinion, and I would hope Terumo continues to bring on new talent in the years to come."

“My internship experience with Terumo has been memorable and impactful to my professional career. As interns, we were included in every aspect of the organization, as if we were full time associates. My time here has enabled me to gain firsthand experience with the products and functions of the medical device industry, leading to an enhancement of both my professional and personal skills. Most importantly, Terumo gave me the opportunity to work on new projects and initiatives that will have a huge impact on the lives of thousands of patients.”

"My experience as the Marketing Communications Intern at Terumo was far beyond my expectations. Every day of my 10-week internship, I was provided with opportunities to expand my knowledge, find new ways to develop and sharpen my skills, and engage with intelligent and passionate associates. The corporate environment that Terumo offers is one that encourages personal growth, teamwork and team-building, and mastery, which serves to provide interns with a hands-on and communal learning experience that is difficult to find anywhere else. My summer at Terumo is an experience I will never forget."

"Working at Terumo as a summer intern has been a great experience. I’ve learned a lot about working in a corporate environment and the medical device industry, and overall, this internship has helped to cement my desire to pursue a career in Supply Chain in the future. All in all, it’s been an amazing ten weeks here and I couldn’t have asked for a better internship program for the summer after my sophomore year."

"My internship experience at Terumo exceeded my expectations. I was given the opportunity to learn and develop throughout the program. Terumo is neither a small nor a large company, which makes it the perfect size to explore a corporate career."

"As the Accounts Payable Intern for Summer 2018, my favorite parts of the internship were touring Elkton and having meals with the executives of Terumo. This experience was very rewarding, and I gained a lot of knowledge about accounting. I admire the company’s mission and its values."

"All of the associates were welcoming and made Terumo a fun place to work. Terumo has the corporate culture of a smaller company, which gave me the opportunity to get involved in numerous projects and gain experience that most interns would not have received. I have gained valuable experiences that I am grateful for and will continue to build on. I really enjoyed my time here."
